Stories of Hope

From unregulated emotions and delayed speech development, Piper was struggling to meet the developmental milestones of other children her age😞.  Her sweet and determined mother Cristie had been struggling right along with her sweet daughter to find the help she needed, but she was beginning to exhaust all of her options by way of various forms of mainstream therapies.  Having trouble verbally expressing herself, Piper’s speech was unclear and she mostly pointed at objects and said only single words to ask for something that she needed.  Her inability to sleep through the night😴, constant overactivity, and the inability to focus was weighing heavily on Cristie, and her hope of Piper ever meeting her developmental milestones was diminishing😢.  Afterall, Piper had been in speech and occupational therapy, developmental pediatrics, and early intervention since she was a year and a half old.  Doctors even had her hearing tested to see if hearing loss was the cause of her frustrations😞.  

Willing to try anything to help her child, Cristie’s ears perked up👂when a friend shared an Instagram post about pediatric chiropractic care.  Hopeful but desperate for help, Cristie set up an appointment for Piper to receive a thorough, neurological exam at E320 Chiropractic💚.  Cristie admitted to having some skepticism of getting any relief through chiropractic care, but it was mostly because she didn’t think Piper would cooperate in the process😬.  “Piper is leery of new things and new people.  I just didn’t think she would lay on a table and let anyone touch her or talk to her,” Cristie said.  However, after talking to Dr. Rhonda for the first time, Cristie said her hesitations disappeared, and she felt even more seen and understood when Piper’s neurological scans were explained to her📈.  “It was an eye opener.  Seeing Piper’s struggles show up in the scans was a relief to me because if it was really happening, and the scans showed it, then I knew Dr. Rhonda could really key in on her problems and help her!”  

Within a few months of Piper’s personalized care plan, Cristie started to see undeniable results in her sweet daughter.  “Her speech was clearer, she was answering our questions, greeting us with ‘hello’s and goodbye’s,’ and she’s been progressing up and up ever since🎈!”  Piper is now speaking entire sentences on her own without repeating other’s promptings, and her speech therapist has joined in on the celebration of Piper’s advancements🙌!  

Piper’s speech is not the only improvement that her “cheerleading team” is celebrating📣…at her most recent re-evaluation, Cristie said Piper’s mood regulation has also improved and she’s had very few meltdowns compared to before chiropractic care🎉!  “She has been sleeping so much better, her energy level is much better most days, and she’s overall so much happier! I can’t begin to explain how much this has helped every aspect of Piper’s life! She’s had so much improvement in speech, overall regulation, sleep, skin issues, and overall health and communication,” Cristie celebrated🌟.  

Cristie isn’t the only one celebrating…sweet Piper’s improvements inspired the E320 Team💚to hire Piper as an unofficial team member😉!  Whenever Piper comes into the office for her adjustments, she knows it’s time to get adjusted and help the team by running into the back office to do some data entry hug-giving🤗.  We are so glad that Cristie searched relentlessly for a way better way to improve Piper’s quality of life.  That she chose us to be a partner in helping her sweet daughter surpass her developmental milestones is an honor💚.  Piper, it’s only up, up, and away from here🎈!  Oh, the places you’ll go🌈!
